The maximum dimensions for coaches/minibuses carried by SpeedFerries are:
- Up to 29 seats
- Maximum height 3.1m
- Maximum weight 7 tonnes gross, maximum axle weight 5 tonnes
- Maximum length 10m
These limits are enforced in order to comply with the design of our craft and loading ramps and it only applies to coaches/minibuses due to the very limited area of the vessel’s stern capable of accommodating such sizes.

Please note, minibuses with 9 or less passengers (including driver) and which do not exceed 7m long, 2m wide, 2.9m high and 3.5 tonnes can be booked online or via our Call Centre on 0871 222 7456 (Call Center booking fee applies). Please select vehicle type Standard or large vehicle with up to 9 passengers.
