SpeedFerries is extremely honoured to once again, have been voted 'Best Ferry Company’ by the readers of The Guardian, The Observer and Guardian Unlimited in their 21st Travel Awards.

The scoring of these awards is designed to reward quality, rather than quantity.  So it is not surprising, therefore, that SpeedFerries, a small family run company, has outstripped the stiffest competition from long-established rivals in the industry throughout the UK.

SpeedFerries received “Best Ferry Operator” award 2006 at the annual Travel Awards hosted by the Guardian, the Observer and Guardian Unlimited.

The Guardian, the Observer and Guardian Unlimited asked their readers to rate the quality of service they received on their holidays. Readers voted SpeedFerries’ service the best in the UK ferry industry. The award is based on comprehensive independent research.

The SpeedFerries team is delighted and honoured to win this award after just over 2 years of operation and would like to thank all readers voting for SpeedFerries and all its customers for their continuous help and support in establishing this new low cost concept in ferry operations.

SpeedFerries continues its commitment to offer cross-Channel prices at an acceptable level and provide a high quality, low cost ferry service for its customers as well as push the limits for traditional ferry operation.

2005: "Best European Crossing Operator"

In 2005, SpeedFerries won the ‘Best European Crossing Operator’ award at the Telegraph Travel Awards. The award is based on extremely comprehensive independent research and features the biggest annual survey of the British travelling public.

Following a difficult start-up period, SpeedFerries is very pleased to have received this prestigious award after just 18 months of operation.
